Please feel free to use natural sweeteners such as stevia or monk fruit extract to sweeten your meals. However, moderation is key. While stevia and monk fruit extract offer a natural alternative to refined sugar, it is still important to consume sweeteners in moderation as part of a balanced diet.
As in any healthy dietary pattern, we would highly suggest limiting or avoiding artificial sweeteners, such as aspartame, and sucralose (and other similar alternatives) use, as such sweeteners, may negatively impact health parameters long-term depending on each individual person.
