If you find the recipe not appealing, you can easily switch it to another one.
Kindly note, that there are two ways of changing recipes in the MyDiabetes app.
First option (swap meals):
1. Click on the 'Meals' section at the bottom menu;
2. In your current meal plan tap 'Swap' on the meal which you'd like to replace. You can scroll down the 'Recommendation' list, 'Favourite' list, or search meal by name in the search bar;
3. After you choose a meal from the list tap on it and then press 'Select' and the meal will be replaced.
Second option (create new meal plan):
1. Select the 'Meals' section at the bottom of the screen;
2. Select 'Settings' (gear icon) at the top right corner;
3. Click on 'Nutrition preferences';
4. Select 'Excluded foods' to change your preferences;
This way, you will be able to change certain ingredients in your current diet program. After making a change, press 'Update meal plan'.
