If you are not able to download the app, please check if there's enough free space on your mobile device. Also, check if your Internet connection is fine.
We would also advise you to clear the data and cache if you still can't download the app:
Google Play: Scroll down to Google Play Store app and then tap on Clear Data and Clear Cache. Clearing the cache will help you fix the download pending problem in Play Store. If clearing the cache and data in your Google Play Store didn't work, you may need to go into your Google Play Services and remove the data and cache there. Doing this is easy. You need to go into your Settings and hit Application manager or Apps. From there, find the Google Play Services app (the puzzle piece).
App Store: Go to "Settings" > tap "iTunes & App Store" > tap the Apple ID > tap "Sign Out" in the pop-up > tap the Apple ID again and sign in with your Apple ID. Now, run the App Store to download apps to check the problem is solved or not.
